Adelaide Reclink Community Cup 2017
Adelaide Reclink Community Cup is coming to your streets on 16 July 2017. After the success of the inaugural event in 2015, the Adelaide Reclink Community Cup charity football game returns for its third year, on 16 July at Norwood Oval.
Gear up in your team colours and come on down for a fun family day out, with live music, children’s activities, food and beverage stalls and, of course, the big match between the Rockatoos (musicians) and Adelaide Anchors (Three D Radio, Fresh 927 and Radio Adelaide).
Undoubtedly one of the most anticipated events on the football, music and charity calendars – Adelaide Reclink Community Cup will feature performances by some of the state’s most notable artists with lineups for entertainment, players, and personnel coming soon.
The Reclink Community Cup celebrates Australia’s dynamic music and community broadcasting sectors all whilst raising funds to help Reclink Australia provide sporting and art opportunities for disadvantaged Australians.
This is a family friendly day featuring food, live music, football and plenty of laughs. All proceeds from the day go directly to Reclink Australia to help fund music and sport programs for disadvantaged Australians.
Cost: $5 or gold coin donation for kids all to Reclink Australia charity.
What is Reclink Australia?
The event will raise funds for Reclink Australia, who use sport and the arts to enhance the lives of the marginalised and disadvantaged and targets some of the community’s most vulnerable and isolated people – those experiencing mental illness, disability, homelessness, substance abuse, addiction, and social and economic hardship. With a network of over 300 member agencies around the country, Reclink Australia encourages participation in physical activity in a population group under-represented in mainstream sport, recreational programs and associations. In the past 12 months Reclink Australia provided more than 100,000 individual opportunities to participate in over 10,000 sport and arts activities around the country.
