Calling all gymnasts, dancers, performers, martial artists and inspired young people!
The South Australian Circus Centre, the Home of Cirkidz is Adelaide’s premier training hub for young people who will become the future of contemporary circus arts in Australia. The Performance Program aims to provide the best equipment, environment and mentors available to enable and empower students to become professional national and international touring circus artists.
The Performance Program artists and graduates are pushing the boundaries of circus all over the world and having an amazing time doing it. The Performance Program has multiple entry points, depending on experience and aptitude.
Cirkidz is proud to be offering the opportunity to participate in a “Workshop Audition” for the Performance Program on Saturday April 8 with Artistic Director Joshua Hoare and Artist Development Co-ordinator Jono Dragt.
Participants will be expertly led through a two hour workshop that will give insight into the technical training and creative development process. They will also experience some of the many benefits students can expect to enjoy by training at the centre.
Participants will be assessed during the workshop by the Artistic Director and Artist Development Coordinator on suitability for a position in the Performance Program or Cirkidz specialist classes.
