Explore the beautiful environment and connect with nature at the free Barossa Bushgardens Nature Play Festival, suitable for children 0 – 10 years.
Go for a scavenger hunt, explore the nature trail and different kinds of labyrinths or even create your own. Have a play in the newly expanded Nature Play Area or get dirty in the mud kitchen and muddy puddle. Get creative with nature-based craft activities, read a book in the story nook and get close to native animals with Animals Anonymous.
People vs. Coffee will provide parents with sustenance and families are welcome to bring a blanket and picnic. Make sure to protect yourself from the sun and bring some spare clothes.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the parents to look after their children at all times.
The Barossa Bushgardens are filled with wildlife like the friendly Kookaburras and Bearded Dragons but ask everyone to not try and pick them up.
