Birdwood Primary School proudly presents the 43rd annual Birdwood Farm Day
Crisp autumn air, the smell of woodsmoke from campfires, freshly baked damper & billy tea, tractors & ponies carting happy kids around, the sound of a tug-o-war or sack race, treasure hunting in the bric a brac, gumboots & hot soup … all surrounded by Mount Crawford forest – this is Farm Day !
Join in for a day of country fun in the forest, and enjoy the best of what the Birdwood community has to offer.

- tractor rides
- log chopping
- native animals
- spinners & weavers
- animal nursery
- face painting
- whip cracking
- pony & camel rides
- live music
- games for the whole family
- James’ Travelling Magic Show
- art displays
- CFS demonstrations
- Scouts SA activity hub
- restored machinery
- Don’s demo dogs and vintage cars
Browse for some bargains at the Birdwood school run stalls for whatever tickles your fancy – something for the garden, bric a brac treasures, creative crafts, gourmet goodies and sweet treats.
Loads of craft activities for the kids, old fashioned games for all the family, and a giant CASH raffle drawn on the day!
Coming for lunch? Choose from a huge range of hot foods, pack a forest picnic or bring along the barbie and cook your own campfire lunch!
Weather a bit chilly? There will be plenty of shelter available if the weather isn’t being kind. Grab a cup of homemade soup or billy tea, settle down by a campfire, listen to some of the great entertainment line up and take in the great atmosphere that Farm Day has to offer. You’ll never find another day quite like it !
