BOUNCE Kids Party | Review

If you’re looking for a party option that’s active fun for kids and super easy for parents, then a party at BOUNCE fits the bill.

Our party of 14 kids (from five to 11 years old) of girls and boys, enjoyed the one hour of activities and were well looked after by our enthusiastic and friendly party host.

We started off with Dodgeball (see pictures above) – the party has exclusive use of the Dodgeball court and the younger ones who weren’t particularly keen to play the game were able to happily bounce around the back. The ball is pretty soft so it shouldn’t hurt anyone. The older kids love this game and it was a battle of girls vs boys.

Next up we moved to the slack line and basketball area. There are two suspended slack lines to challenge the kids with balancing. Our party host was there to offer her hand for those who wanted a little help. Right near the slack lines there’s the Slam Dunk with three bouncy basketball rings to try.

The Big Bag area was next on our list where the kids get to bounce along the long trampoline and into the big air bag at the end. Older kids who are able to, can have a go at the super bouncy one which is used for aerial tricks.

The Super Tramp area has trampolines which offer extra height and bounce, plus has the walls where experienced bouncers can do those aerial wall tricks. This area has a height restriction – for safety reasons younger kids are not allowed in this section to prevent injuries. They were welcome to stay in the Big Bag area to play. The older kids loved the super bounciness on these trampolines.

Lastly we came to the Free Jump Arena, where there is a sea of trampolines to play on, including the ones along the walls which you can climb up, slide down or bounce off. We got all the kids together, sitting on the wall, for a great photo opportunity here (thanks to our party host for the suggestion).

With all that bouncing and action for an hour, it was not surprising that everyone was eager to get stuck into some food. We moved into our own party room for the last half an hour to re-charge.

We had the Classic Pack 1 option with mini sausage rolls, mini party pies, potato gems, mini pizzas and Nudie Juice box. There was a BOUNCE Party Box for each guest (one of the optional extras). These included a helium balloon (which was a great decoration for the room) and inside was a bag of lollies, bag of popcorn, BOUNCE wristband and sticker.

We had the Mousse and Mud Cake as the birthday cake (delicious and not too sweet, by the way) which was all arranged by our party host. She lit the candles and cut up the cake for party guests. We literally didn’t need to do a thing!

As usual with any visit to such a fun place, it was a little hard to drag the kids away to go home!

Just a note, if you’re planning a party at BOUNCE our suggestion would be to make sure everyone gets there maybe 15 minutes before the session starting time. You receive the special BOUNCE socks included as part of the party package – it’s good to have a bit of time for everyone to get their socks on so you don’t miss out on any of the bouncing fun. All their sessions start on the hour.

BOUNCE are able to tailor the party to suit your children – if they prefer certain activities, they can accommodate this. The booking was easy to do over the phone and the booking staff were very helpful.
