Campbelltown Pizza Festival

Back for its 3rd year – The 2016 Campbelltown Pizza Festival will be held from the 1 – 27 July 2016 in pizza venues throughout the City of Campbelltown. The pizzeria venues included in this festival represent a strong commitment to authenticity and high quality, while following the authentic way of making pizza. Their ingredients are scrupulously sourced from South Australian producers and their contribution to the understanding of authentic Italian Pizza amongst the wider public is constant, and underlined with passion.

From Italy, the phenomenon of pizza-making and appreciation for this specialty cuisine has spread to Australia.
The humble Pizza has welcomed new ingredients, new recipes and adapted itself to the taste of Italians from region to region. Following the massive Italian migration to Australia during the 20th century and particularly to Campbelltown South Australia, the opening of many pizzerias ensured that the pizza did not take long to conquer the taste buds of Australians.

The 2016  venues include:

  • Anthony Cucina
  • De Corso’s, Tranmere
  • Da Mario
  • Eat Love Pizza, Rostrevor
  • La Romana, Newton
  • Mercato
  • Rezz, Newton
  • Sorelle at Magill, Magill
  • The Killer Tomato, Newton
  • Va Bene Cafe Ristorante, Campbelltown

You will discover that pizzas are different from one pizzeria to another, and this festival showcases the great depth of variety within the Campbelltown area.

An initiative of Campbelltown Council to support our local businesses, this festival is unique in South Australia and further promotes Campbelltown as a food destination.
