‘Come and Try’ Holiday Clinics at the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre these October school holidays.
The SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre at Oaklands Park are conducting diving and water polo clinics these school holidays.
Diving Clinic
Activities include skills of diving, techniques of safe diving as well as the opportunity to dive off of the 1 and 3m diving boards.
The sessions are for 7–12 year olds who must be competent swimmers.
Diving Clinics are running on Tuesday the 11th, Wednesday the 12th and Thursday the 13th of October 2016.
Water Polo Clinics
Try something different with SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre’s Water Polo Clinic. This clinic is run by a waterpolo coach for competent swimmers aged 7 – 12 years. Kids will have a “ball” in this clinic, learning waterpolo techniques and skills as well as having an awesome time.
Water Polo Clinics are running on Monday the 10th and Friday the 12th and Thursday the 13th of October 2016.
Cost is $16.50 per child (or 2 sessions for $30).
Flippa Ball
Come and try a modified version of Water Polo where kids will learn technique and skills. Played in shallow water, it offers participants the opportunity to stand on the bottom of the pool which allows them the opportunity to rest if required. Suitable for kids aged 5 – 10 years.
Flippa Ball Clinics are running Monday 10th October 2016 and Friday 14th October 2016
Session times:
12.30pm – 1.30pm
1.30pm – 2.30pm
Cost: $16.50 per child, per session.
