One of the great family friendly shows you can see in the Ukiyo Tent is Croquiky Brothers. These two brothers from Korea can dance, draw and play air guitar, often all at the same time. Loaded with clowning, comedy and audience participation. Find out more here.

The Good Fortune Market is set up with stalls and tents in an enclosed, fenced in circle around Elder Park. Therefore it is fenced off from the River Torrens and kids can’t go near the water, which is great for families. Remember how cute the Alpine Winter Village was, with its European Christmas in July theme? Well this is the Asian market version of that. It’s so colourful and bright with gorgeous lanterns strung up, and those large animal and object lanterns from the Moon Lantern Festival on display.  There are plenty of tables and seats, some out in the open, others in under cover tents.

There are so many food stalls! More than at most festivals we’ve seen. There are plenty of different options, set out like Asian hawker stalls overseas.

There are pop up bars for the party crowd that will swing into action in the evenings and go til late.

There are market stalls to check out too.

See free live entertainment on the main stage. We were treated to a lovely acoustic performance this afternoon.

There is plenty of space in front of the stage with a large grassy area for kids to dance and run around. Just make sure your stroller is ok going over grass. If it’s been a bit rainy, like when we visited, beware that parts of the ground may be a bit muddy.
