Head along to the Maritime Museum to hear gory stories from the putrid past!  Meet eminent barber surgeon, Mr Bartholomew Mortimer Wonderbottom and his mate Lady Sarah Dunnyville – Florence Nightingale of Shropshire and a cast of rather swarthy and scurvy-laden sea dogs!

Join the crew as they sail through history on board HMS Rancid and learn your favourite ailments from boils and the bubonic plague, to scurvy and scarlett fever. See the most up to date cures from flesh eating maggots, blood slurping leeches and rusty amputation saws.

Shows will be held at 11am and 1pm weekdays during the July school holidays.

Museum Entry Fees: Adults $10 | Concession $8 | Child $5  | Family $25 (2 adults, up to 5 children).

The Maritime Museum is open daily from 10am – 5pm.
