Handpicked Festival | Langhorne Creek | 14 Nov 2015

hand picked 2

Australia’s hottest bands and some of SA’s coolest food and wine will come together again at the Fleurieu Peninsula’s freshest venue when Lake Breeze Wines hosts the second Handpicked Festival. Handpicked food trucks will provide a range of cuisines to complement Lake Breeze’s wine selection.

Birds of Tokyo will be headling. They need little introduction – their anthemic breakthrough hit ‘Plans’ ranked #4 in Triple J’s Hottest 100 while the follow up single, ‘Wild At Heart’ reached #1 on the country’s National Airplay Chart and won the band an APRA Award. Conrad Sewell, Dan Sultan, Timberwolf, The Germein Sisters, Indiago, and Paige Renee Court will also be performing at Handpicked Festival in 2015.

The Follett family, who own Lake Breeze, conceived the Handpicked Festival to help put their award-winning boutique winery and the wider Langhorne Creek region, just one hour from Adelaide, on the map. Lake Breeze winery lies on the banks of the Bremer River and is surrounded by majestic river red gums and overlooks the 90 hectare (225 acre) Follett family vineyard.

Handpicked will be providing a return coach service from the Adelaide Central Bus Station to Lake Breeze Wines for an additional cost, or there will be plenty of free parking available onsite for those who wish to drive.  Coach bookings must be made when you book your event tickets. Festival tickets are available now through the Handpicked website here. Children 12 years and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
