Little Library for Little People Opening in Glover Playground!
Bring a Book! Take a Book!
Welcome to the launch of the first Little Library in the Adelaide Council area. Also welcome to what may be one of the first Little Libraries for Little People in the world – it is focused on children’s books and other things they are interested in. Please bring a children’s book, and encourage your children to borrow and read one at this library.
This event will take place at Glover Playground in North Adelaide (otherwise known as Helicopter Park!) on Sunday, November 2nd. The organisers hope you will like it and find it useful and fun for the children of Adelaide!
The Helicopter Library is a “take a book, return a book” gathering place where children can share their favourite literature and stories. In its most basic form, a Little Free Library is a hub full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share. You can, too!
