Obstacool Adelaide

Obstacool is an exciting initiative to keep kids healthy by doing what they love. Jumping, climbing, crawling through some awesome Obstacle Courses.

Obstacool is a kid’s obstacle course for boys and girls aged 5-12 and has fun elements such as climbing, crawling, jumping and bouncing along its course. Obstacles include walls, net crawls, balancing, and a run through the final inflatable obstacle ‘The Big Bopper’.

Obstacool have teamed up with Miss Muddy and will be holding this event alongside Miss Muddy – Australia’s first and only obstacle course event just for women. To find out more about this event for women have a look at the Miss Muddy website here.

The Course

Designed with fun and safety in mind, the Obstacool course includes a range of obstacles that are both challenging and fun. Suitable for kids of all fitness levels, the course has been designed to allow participants to run at their own pace. A mix of giant inflatables and other super fun obstacles, the course is guaranteed to have all participants smiling from ear to ear.

Age Groups

Mini-Coolers (5 to 8 years) and Maxi-Coolers (9 to 12 years) will all run the course together, but will receive different coloured wrist bands, so the younger ones can be easily identified if they need a little extra helping hand from our awesome staff and wonderful volunteers. This means that brother and sisters, cousins or friends can all run together whether they are a Mini-Cooler or a Maxi-Cooler. Participants must be a minimum age of 5 or a maximum age of 12 years on the day of the event they are participating. No children under 5 or over 12 are permitted to take part in Obstacool events due to insurance reasons.

Wave Times

You select the wave time you want your child to run the course when you register online. The first wave of each event starts at 8am with waves then starting each hour through until the last wave at 12pm. If your child is part of a team, you need to make sure you register them in the same wave as the rest of their team. Each wave runs for a maximum of 45 minutes. Participants are free to run the course as many times as they like within their 45 minute wave before collecting their finishing medal and moving to the post course area where each child will only be released from the Obstacool area to the same parent or guardian who checked them in at the pre-course area.

What to wear

Participants will be running around and getting down and dirty, so kids are advised to wear suitable shoes for running and comfortable clothes that won’t get them in trouble with mum or dad if they come home covered in mud, sweat and tears… tears of laughter that is!

Tickets are $29 for each child and includes 45 minutes access to the Obstacool course.
