Don’t miss your chance to pick your own apples in the Adelaide Hills this year!
For one weekend only, go along to the premium apple growing district of Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills and you can pick your own apples on Saturday 6 May & Sunday 7 May 2017. Three premium apple orchards in Lenswood, Adelaide Hills, located within the heart of one or Australia’a premium apple growing regions, are opening their premises for a weekend of visiting, exploring and fruit picking.
Soak up the stunning autumn colours, breathe in the fresh air and orchard smells and delight in the flavours of freshly picked fruit as you wander around the orchards. You can also learn about and taste different varieties, purchase the apples you pick to take home and enjoy home-cooked apple crumble and other local produce, warm and cold.
Only a 40 minute drive from Adelaide, Pick a Pink Lady Weekend is a unique opportunity to pick some Pink Lady apples straight from the tree, meet the growers, and discover how fruit is produced in the delightful Adelaide Hills.
Cost: $5 per head entry at each orchard. Children under 12 FREE.
