RSPCA Million Paws Walk | 21 May 2017

The RSPCA’s biggest family friendly fundraising event is back!

On Sunday 21 May 2017, walk to fight animal cruelty at the annual Million Paws Walk event. In South Australia this year the walk will take place in seven different locations across the state.

Register yourself, friends and family to take part in the biggest dog walk in Australia. Your contributions will help care for the 10,000 animals who enter the RSPCA shelters every year.

For the first time this year, you can take part in the Million Paws Challenge by walking a million paws with your dog!

All you have to do is set up a fundraising page and walk from 20 April to 20 May for the cause! Let people know why you’re walking and get them to sponsor your effort. Register for the Challenge today and make every step count. You’ll receive prizes and lots of fun stuff for you and your pooch as you get closer to the elusive millionth paw.

Every dollar you raise will help the RSPCA reach $230,000 to help animals in need!

Adelaide Event

South Australia’s flagship walk at Bonython Park is set to be an amazing day because 5,000 people and their dogs will walk the 2km course for animals in need! After the walk, enjoy a village style atmosphere with over 70 stallholders and food trucks, a main stage with live entertainment, doggy games, kids activities, dog agility demonstrations and heaps more. Murray Bridge Event

  • Sturt Reserve | Sturt Reserve Road, Murray Bridge
  • 9:30am – 13:00pm
  • Walk Start Time – 10:00am
  • Walk Length – 2 km / 4 km

The third annual Million Paws Walk at Murray Bridge starts with a walk along the beautiful Murray river, the day will then have a village style atmosphere with market stalls, a barbeque, coffee truck, activities and more! (Click here for more details)

Victor Harbor Event

  • Warland Reserve, Victor Harbor
  • 9:30am – 1:00pm
  • Walk Start Time – 10:00am
  • Walk Length – 2 km / 4 km

Million Paws Walk is the biggest doggy day out in Victor Harbor! Join the beautiful walk along the foreshore, followed by a main stage with live entertainment, food vendors, market stalls and more!  (Click here for more details)

Berri Event

  • Martin’s Bend Picnic Area, Berri
  • 9:30am – 1:00pm
  • Walk Start Time – 10:00am
  • Walk Length – 2 km / 4 km

Berri’s very own Million Paws Walk, starting with a picturesque 2km walk will be followed by a barbeque, market stalls, doggy washes and more!

Wallaroo Event

  • Seaside Vet Surgery | 24 John Terrace, Wallaroo
  • 9:30am – 1:00pm
  • Walk Start Time – 10:00am
  • Walk Length – 2 km / 4 km

Hosted by Seaside Vets, start with a walk along the foreshore and cool down in the sea with your four legged friends, followed by a barbeque, live entertainment, free veterinary checks and more!

Whyalla Event

  • Civic Park, Whyalla
  • 9:30am – 1:00pm
  • Walk Start Time – 10:00am
  • Walk Length – 2 km / 4 km

Whyalla’s second annual Million Paws Walk will start with a picturesque 2km followed by a barbeque, market stalls, doggy washes and more!  (Click here for more details)

Port Augusta Event

  • Eastside Foreshore, Port Augusta
  • 9:30am – 1:00pm
  • Walk Start Time – 10:00am
  • Walk Length – 2 km / 4 km

Port Augusta’s 11th annual Million Paws Walk will start with a picturesque 2km walk, followed by a barbeque, prize giveaways, doggy competitions and more!
