Salisbury Secret Garden Family Events
Join in for live music and performances, celebrating the diverse program of Salisbury Secret Garden 2017. Finish off the night with a family friendly film under the stars. Best of all entry is FREE, so why not bring the whole family for an evening of fun, entertainment and great food.
It will be on Friday 24 February 2017 at 4pm and again on Friday 3 March 2017 at 4:30pm. The event duration is for 6 hours.

Salisbury Secret Garden continues with another fantastic FREE night of music, film and street performances.
- A great line-up of Australian and local acts will perform on the main stage, including:
- Bush Gothic
- Abbey Howlett
- Chiara La Woo
- Slack Taxi performers and comedy both in the open and $5 shows in the Rastelli tent
- Plus other local performers!
All in the heart of Salisbury at Salisbury Civic Square along with markets, buskers, food, drinks, activities and a whole lot more.
When the sun has set, around 8.30pm, they will be screening feature film Zootopia. It’s a light-hearted film for the whole family set in the city of Zootopia where various animals live and thrive.
World Music in the Square
Saturday 4 March | From 4.30pm
Who said you have to be in town to celebrate the Fringe season? Step into Salisbury Civic Square and experience a wide variety of food, entertainment, music and activities. From the drums of Africa to the didgeridoo of Australia.
World Music Day will pull you in as soon as you arrive. With the aromas of flavours of the world you’ll soon be transported to all the corners of the world.
The main treat for this day will be the incredible music of Electric Fields featuring the magical voice of Zaachariaha Fielding and producer Michael Ross. Zaachariaha tells a beautiful story of his Pitjantjatjara family in the APY lands and sings with the power of all the land.
All the while the John Harvey Gallery will be having an exhibition of beautiful Japanese art, the Main Stage will be dancing out some African drum rhythms and choirs with the Burundian Society demonstrations and the ever-energetic Bortier Okoe’s. Followed by Japanese rockers The Vanguards.
World Music Day will be a treat for all the senses.
Family Fun Day
Sunday 5 March | 1 – 5pm | Salisbury Civic Square
Discover the fun and excitement of the Secret Garden with free and affordable activities and performances for the whole family. Explore the Square and enjoy street performers and local buskers during the day.
ZANY ZEN, Diamond Duo, Wobbles the Clown, A Sprinkle of Magic, street performers and buskers just to name a few!
There will be a vintage gaming room hosted by the @Salisbury Library Service, food and market stalls, face painting, jumpy castle and more.
All part of the BankSA Adelaide Fringe.
