Super Amazing Giant Girl | Fringe with Little Ones Review

by Baby & Toddler Destinations Adelaide

Best for 2 years up or for babies who can sit through a little show.

Today was our first Fringe experience with our little ones. We went to two shows today, Kid|Dub Time Machine (see the Play & Go review here) with lots of our crew but for this show, we just took 2 of our girls (special Mummy and daughter treat). They absolutely loved it! Super Amazing Giant Girl became my little girl’s idol and she clung to her flyer the whole show and then very very shyly asked Super Amazing Giant Girl for her autograph at the end of the show (cute as).

Why was it great?

It only went for 35 Minutes and our little girls were engaged and totally into the performance the whole time.

It is a little story about how Giant Girl becomes Super Amazing Giant Girl.

Small Auditorium, so it was intimate.

The show is made up of 2 key female performers and they are both incredible acrobats! We were all in awe of their skills, from roller-skating across bubble wrap to handstands on tiny sticks to the BEST Hula Hooping that I have ever seen – they were just great.

We always secretly hope that if we are asked to review someone or something that it is fantastic, and this was. We can not recommend seeing this show highly enough.

It would suit from 2 years up (just for attention span for a story) but there is plenty happening on stage that would capture the interest of a smaller toddler as well. It just might not be easy for them to sit still and then you won’t enjoy it as much.

On a side note, we had a ball in between our shows having lunch and playing on the rides and in the sand pit at the Garden of Unearthly Delights. We had always been cautious about going as we thought that it would be all too busy but really it was huge, and there was so much to see and do.

Super Amazing Giant Girl is performing at 2 pm on the 12, 13, 18 and 19 March 2017 in The Garden of Unearthly Delights (cnr of Rundle St & East Tce).
