Families, friends and children can join the fun and excitement at Westminster School’s Fun Fair in April.
The free annual community event – considered the largest school fair of its kind in South Australia – will be held on Westminster’s Preparatory School oval from 9.00am to 3.00pm on Saturday 9 April.
More than 4000 people attended Westminster School’s Fun Fair in 2015. Thousands are again expected to attend this year’s show, which has grown to become one of Adelaide’s most popular family fun days.
Colourful sideshows, amusement rides, entertainment and an animal nursery will be available at the 2016 Westminster Fun Fair.
A wide variety of food and novelty stalls including clothing, plant, produce, book, bric-a-brac and craft stands will also be offered.
Adventurous fairgoers can enjoy Westminster’s popular dunking machine throughout the day.
Visitors to the School will also have an opportunity to tour the grounds and facilities, with tours departing from 10.00am, 11.30am and 1.00pm.
Westminster School’s annual Fun Fair has been running for almost 55 years.
“Our annual Fun Fair has become a much-loved community event for the whole family to enjoy,” Westminster School Principal Mr Steve Bousfield, said.
“Featuring sideshows and amusement rides, an array of food stands and novelty stalls, as well as the popular animal nursery, Westminster’s Fun Fair offers something for everyone regardless of their age.”
“As in previous years, we expect this year’s event will attract a strong crowd, and we look forward to welcoming local families for what will be a fun, friendly and relaxing day.”
Westminster School’s Fun Fair is a free community event. Parking is available on school grounds for a gold coin donation.
