Celebrate the start of the whale season!
Head along to Whale Time Playtime for exciting activities and entertainment in the heart of seaside Victor Harbor, on South Australia’s beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.
Each year, Southern Right Whales, and the occasional passing Humpback Whale travel from the cold waters of Antarctica to the protected coastal waters of the Encounter Bay Marine Park on the Fleurieu Peninsula, to mate and give birth.
This unique Festival held in the heart of Victor Harbor at Warland Reserve, boasts a fun-filled day out for the whole family.
Enjoy live performances, Tram Barn Disco, Baby Chill Out Zone, Yard Party, FREE bouncing castle and rides, FREE Face Painting and FREE Craft Workshops.
On the PlayTime Stage you’ll see live performances by SeaStar Rock, The Amazing Drumming Monkeys, Ronald McDonald and Friends, Mr Oopy, Jessi Jasmine, and the Tal-Kin-Jeri Dancers.
There will also be a range of activities and other entertainment:
- model trains
- native animals
- bubble show
- roving circus performers
- Kondoli the Inflatable Whale
- MFS Fire Truck
- CFS Smokey the Koala
- Sea Sheperd Steve Irwin Exhibit Guided Tours
- market stalls and more.
Festival tickets just $5.00 per person, available at the gate or online here and includes FREE entry to the SA Whale Centre and 2-for-1 tickets on the Horse Drawn Tram all day.
