Willunga Christmas Tree Festival

Willunga Uniting Church hosts its 18th annual Christmas Tree Festival at the beginning of Advent.

The Willunga Christmas Tree Festival continues its tradition of showcasing beautiful Christmas trees, music, Christmas stalls and kids’ activities in this annual community event. This year, the festival is fortunate to be sponsored by Bendigo Bank, Earth Greetings and Laucke Flours.

It features Christmas stalls, ideal for Christmas gift buying and those searching for Christmas bargains. There will be plenty of yummy home baked goods on sale, including fruit cakes and biscuits.

The festival has a long tradition of awarding a people’s choice.  There are great prizes up for grabs for the best decorated Christmas tree. There is also an online entry option this year. CLICK HERE TO ENTER

There are many things to investigate for all ages including a popular door wreath workshop on 24 November and Paper Book Decoration workshop on 17 November (bookings essential). Visitors to the festival can view the individual wreath creations as part of the displays during the festival.

Kids can explore the adventure trail throughout the festival. Every child receives a prize on completion of the trail. Visitors can visit the community complex while enjoying a display of over 50 decorated Christmas trees.

For many visitors the festival is not complete without indulging in one of the delicious Devonshire teas at the Devonshire cafe.
