Treasure Boxes Bright Jumper Day
Wear your brightest jumper to school and brighten winter for babies and kids.
On any given cold, winter night in South Australia over 22,500 babies and kids are living below the poverty line. Struggling parents are unable to keep the heater running when the temperature is low or buy a warm winter blanket for their newborn baby.
Treasure Boxes is there to ensure these families have the childhood necessities they need. They provide them with warm clothing, winter bedding and nursery equipment to keep the little ones safe and sound.
They reduce the distress and financial hardship experienced when a parent has to choose between buying food or a blanket for their children, allowing them comfort and breathing space to focus on getting through a difficult time.
How to Get Involved:
You can help by getting together with your school, or your next party, to host a Bright Jumper Day. Get everyone to dig out that brightly coloured knit from the back of their cupboard and brighten up a dreary winter day, for a gold coin donation.
