Travel into Beatrix’s world as Emma Knights Productions’ presents ‘A Day With Beatrix at The Jade’.
You can spend the morning trying your hand at animal and plant illustrations. Learn about heritage vegetables and funghi and how to grow them at home. Create your own bread dough brooch and play with the farm animals in the petting zoo. There is so much to while away a Sunday morning in winter. Do not worry too much about the cold as you can also listen to Beatrix’s stories by the open fireplace. The Jade is such a quaint little Adelaide Pub.
Throughout the morning you will hear the stunning vocals of Deborah Caddy, accompanied by Emma Knights and Shelley Walker. You will be entertained with music from Beatrix Potter’s time as well as music her stories have inspired.
Come dressed for the occasion! The Jade will have a Cotton-Tail Mocktail or a Flopsy & Mopsy Cocktail available to purchase and there may be bunny biscuits too.
Please note this is a three-hour event beginning promptly at 10 am. A perfect Sunday morning for the young ones and the young at heart alike.
