A Frozen Tale…The Ballet | South Australian Children’s Ballet Company | 6 & 7 Sep 2024

This narrated ballet is a dazzling tale of friendship, love and betrayal presented by the talented young dancers of the South Australian Children’s Ballet Company.

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s story “The Snow Queen”, internationally renowned choreographer Paul Boyd has created an enchanting ballet spectacle. This year Artistic Director Cheryl Bradley reimagines this beautiful production of sisterly love.

Enjoy a winter wonderland featuring everyone’s favourite snowman, a spectacular maypole celebration and a breathtaking Snow Queen dance en pointe, treat the whole family to an unforgettable ballet performance.

The South Australian Children’s Ballet Company (SACBC) provides talented young South Australian dancers with the opportunity to perform a variety of dance styles and to introduce the world of classical and modern dance to younger audiences. SACBC is a not for profit organisation.

Performance Times:

  • Friday 6 September 2024 | 7pm
  • Saturday 7 September 2024| 11am, 2pm and 5pm

The performance runs for 50 minutes. 

Tickets:

  • Adults: $30
  • Concession & Students: $25
  • Children (12 and under): $20
  • Family Ticket (4 people): $85
  • Group of 10: $200
  • Children under 2: Free (with no allocated seat – will be required to sit on lap)
  • Carers: Free when accompanied by a companion card holder
