Hi
in your Adelaide Film Festival (AFF) article you recommend clicking on your link to the AFF program, then select the Genre “Family”.
The AFF website is not overly user-friendly with navigating your way back and forth to check film ratings. (I’d picked up their paper program today from the library but found it hard – at a quick glance – to pinpoint any movies suitable for children.)
Seeing the activities and events you promote, your target audience seems to be primarily u/15yo. It would be helpful in your article if you mention that only one of the 7 “Family genre” films is suitable for under 15yos, this one: “https://adelaidefilmfestival.org/event/minari-2/”
I find your website and emailed newsletters incredibly helpful in planning and mapping ‘life’ with kids – so thank you for the wealth of knowledge you share with parents 🙂
(I refuse to delete them until i’ve skimmed them over, unlike all the other emails i receive, yours are ALWAYS useful)
Best,
Sarah
Thanks so much for the feedback on this event Sarah. You are right – we should have pointed this out clearer. Sometimes we are not given a lot of information and it is time consuming to look for it. Thank you so much for your wonderful kind words about our newsletter. It’s fantastic to hear that you find it useful. Makes all the long hours and work worthwhile to hear that. You have warmed my heart. Best wishes, Linda
