Adelaide Tamil Association present “Adelaide Pongal 2016 | Harvest Festival”.
The Adelaide Tamil Association (ATA) , Ceylon Tamil Association (CTA), Shruthi Adelaide, Adelaide Tamil School, South Australia Tamil School, Hindu Society of SA and Bharatha Arts of South Australia will join together to celebrate Adelaide Pongal 2016.
The Associations along with the Adelaide City Council and the people of SA will be celebrating and honouring our local Farmers. This year the event is getting even bigger and more than 3000 people are expected to celebrate.
Event Activities Include:
- Pongal Cooking,
- Uri Adi,
- Stage Events,
- Information Centre,
- Multicultural Events,
- Delicious Food Stalls,
- Raffle Draw with Fantastic Prizes
This is a free event held at Bonython Park, North Adelaide from 9am onwards. It will be an action packed day with loads of cultural and fun activities for everyone. Visitors are invited to join the event from the beginning so that they can witness and participate in all the activities.
There will be many food stalls for everyone to sit back and enjoy. There will be a raffle with fabulous prizes to be won.
