Summer is the perfect time to get the kids out and about during the school holidays with an extended break and beautiful, warm weather. Throughout Adelaide there are free events as well as workshops, vacation care programs, clinics, classes and activities for kids, plus there are plenty of fun things to do together as a family.

Australian Company of Performing Arts

The Australian Company of Performing Arts is launching its season of ‘Mary Pop’s In’ 18 – 22 January 2020

What happens on the arrival of a magical new nanny? When ‘Mary Pops In’, she embarks on a journey with her new family to help bring everyone together.  This comical, family friendly show includes plenty of interactive singing and dancing. Don’t miss it!

Barossa Valley Chocolate Company

These school holidays at the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, kids can participate in chocolate workshops and a pairing experience.

City of West Torrens

Summer Festival 2020

The weather is getting warmer and we’re thinking about picnics and sunsets shared with family and friends. Join the City of West Torrens for great free entertainment and movies under starry skies, fun at the beach, or maybe you’d prefer to make a splash in the park? Everyone is welcome to join in the fun of City of West Torrens’ annual Summer Festival!

The 2020 program features 10 great events throughout January and February, with three shows especially made for children and their families. All Summer Festival events are family friendly and free entry.



The Big Wedgie

The Big Wedgie returns to West Beach Parks these School Holidays!

Open every day of the school holidays, The Big Wedgie has something that’s perfect for all ages and thrill-levels with 4 awesome inflatable waterslides:
