Auburn Frenchfest
The second weekend of September brings the return of French Culture to Auburn in the Clare Valley. This event promises to be bigger and more French than the last festival in 2021.
A wonderful fusion of French charm nestled in the heart of the Clare Valley in the enchanting village of Auburn, prepare to embark on a journey full of music, art, culture, food, wine and joie de vivre at the magnifique Auburn Frenchfest 2023. After all Auburn is the Paris of the Clare Valley, and this will be the place to be in September.
The program is bigger than ever, and contains so many highlights, including Dream, a show written by locals that has been endorsed by the Moulin Rouge in Paris.
They welcome back favourites Louise Blackwell and the French Set, Panache, Les Gitans Blanc and Arnaud Benassey, plus new acts Michaela Burger, Jen De Ness and more. There will be free entertainment too, by Melange Latino and AJ Pike, in the Wine and Cheese Marquee, plus lots of family-friendly events, markets, French dress-up dog competition, French cars, art exhibitions, crepe-making workshops, language lessons and circus or floral workshops.
The weekend will be full of new things to try and of course wonderful food, either at the food trucks or at one of the dinner shows.
