The 2022 Great Aussie Coin Hunt showcases new iconic and admired parts of Australian life.
The Great Aussie Coin Hunt, brought to you in partnership by Australia Post and the Royal Australian Mint, gives you the chance to collect the set of 26 exclusive $1 coins featuring classic Australian icons from A-Z, at participating Post Offices or online.
This is the third Great Aussie Coin Hunt. The Royal Australian Mint undertook market research with independent research agencies to determine the themes and designs for the 26 Australian coins. There’s L for Luna Park, S for Surfing, V for Vanilla Slice just to name a few.
The collectable coins will be available at most Post Offices around Australia, while stock lasts. You can also purchase them online via the Aus Post website – $3 for 3 x $1 2022 uncirculated coin from the Royal Australian Mint.
VIEW ALL 26 COINS
There is also an option to buy the set for a chance to win $1,000. Purchase the set of 26 A-Z coins between Monday 9 May – Sunday 5 June 2022 to go in their daily draw. The set is $47 and includes empty Great Aussie Coin Hunt 3 folder and a tube of 26 $1 uncirculated Great Aussie Coin Hunt 3 coins.
