Border Collie World Record Attempt & Fun Day | 24 Sep 2017

An unofficial world record attempt hosted by the Border Collie Owners of South Australia to have the most Border Collies in one place at one time!

The current number to beat is 503 dogs, and there will be more than three times this number in this group alone.

The event will be held on Sunday 24th September 2017 at Willaston Oval (Kelly Road entrance).

Gates open at 10am – all who are participating in the attempt and photograph are urged to be on time. Entry is $5 per dog to a maximum of $20 and proceeds will go to a charity chosen by the group. Tickets can be pre-purchased HERE, however please note there is a 30c booking fee for each online ticket.

Border Collie crosses will be allowed to enter the attempt, however it is asked that they do look like a Border Collie.

At 12pm the gates will be opened to the general public. All friendly, well socialised dogs are welcome. The general public entry fee is a gold coin donation.

Dogs must remain leashed at all times. Behaviouralists will be present to help or remove any dog from a stressful situation, they must be complied with at all times for the safety of dogs and people.

There will be doggy stalls, raffles and activities all day.
