Brighton RSL’s ANZAC Day Dawn Service
Dawn Service will be held at Brighton Oval on Sunday 25 April 2021 at 6am.
The service has moved from the traditional location of the Arch of Remembrance at Brighton Jetty to the larger Brighton Oval, to provide space for the community to pay their respects while meeting current COVID-safe requirements. The service will be held on the football/cricket oval at the Brighton Oval Sporting Complex – public entrances to the oval will be on Highet Avenue and Stopford Road.
The new location can accommodate up to 10,000 people, however those attending are required to check-in using the QR code displayed at all entry points, or manually via contact tracing forms.
The community is asked to not attend the Brighton RSL after the service as this will be limited to current members.
The RSL encourages people who don’t attend a traditional dawn service to ‘Light up the dawn’ and honour our veterans from home.
