Christmas Lights Cruise – Coorong Quays Marina on Hindmarsh Island
Launching this summer is one of SA’s newest light displays at the Coorong Quays on Hindmarsh Island – and one you can only truly appreciate from the water.
Goolwa is just over an hour’s drive from Adelaide, then once you’re there just park the car, sit back, relax (BYO drinks and nibbles) and enjoy the spectacular effect of the house and garden light shows while cruising along the safe and protected waters of the marina.
Ideal for familes or friends, Goolwa Boat Cruises are offering a 60 minute cruise for those on a budget, or the full 100 minute cruise where you can view all of the house and garden light displays in the marina. Between December 7 and January 6 full cruise passengers can also cast a vote for the best display.
Cruises depart from the Coorong Quays Marina just after last light, and with summer daylight saving times this will typically be after 8pm, so bookings for the early cruises are recommended.
Cruises are affordable with the single charter price including up to 4 people.
- Budget 60 minute charter: $99
- Full 100 minute charter: $149
The boat is extremely child-friendly with plenty of space, a half cabin at the front of the boat, and the kids are free to move around. The cruises are for small groups only with a maximum of four people.
