The Elizabeth neighbourhood policing team is hosting a Community Safety Day at the Elizabeth Downs Shopping Centre on Saturday, March 1st. In conjunction with the Playford Council, the event will take place from 11am to 2pm and everyone is welcome.
The PACT (Police and Community Together) initiative will provide an opportunity for the community to learn about community safety awareness and give residence a chance to share their vision for the area. Experts from the Metropolitan Fire Service and Ambulance Service will also be on hand to provide safety advice.
The event will feature a free BBQ, jumping castle, face painting and other entertainment from Blink and the Impact Crew as well as the SA Police Band.
