Daffodil Day | Cancer Council | 23 Aug 2019

The Daffodil gives us hope.  Research is saving lives.

This August, join thousands of others across the country to unite and raise funds that give hope and save lives.

Cancer Council SA is urging South Australians to show their support for the Daffodil Day Appeal this August by donating to life-saving research to give more than hope to those affected by cancer.

Daffodil Day is Cancer Council’s most iconic and much-loved annual campaign that raises life-saving funds for world-class cancer research. It’s a time of hope; where we come together to show our support for the 145,000 Australians diagnosed with cancer each year.

This year, Daffodil Day celebrates 33 years of turning Australia yellow, with Cancer Council aiming to raise more than $4 million for cancer research through online donations, and by recruiting more than 8,600 volunteers to staff around 1,370 sites on Daffodil Day.

Join thousands of others across the country to raise funds that give hope and save lives. Please donate online or at a stall near you or get involved by volunteering your time.

There are many ways to support Daffodil Day, such as:

  • Volunteering your time
  • Buying merchandise on Friday 23 August 2019
  • Donating online (see link below)
  • Dedicating a daffodil online to someone you love
