Doggy Day at the Beach
Doggy Day at the Beach is an annual fun-filled, educational event for dogs and their humans at Henley Square.
City of Charles Sturt’s huge annual event, Doggy Day at the Beach is on again this year. The pooch-tastic event for all members of the family, celebrates responsible dog ownership and coincides with the start of daylight savings and the off-leash changes. Grab your four-legged friend and discover the fantastic dog-related stalls, games and activities to delight pups of all sizes (and their humans will love it too).
The annual event promotes changes to on-leash requirements on the foreshore with the arrival of daylight saving, as well as the importance of responsible dog ownership, dog safety and Charles Sturt’s role in animal management.
Enjoy checking out the dog-related stalls, giveaways, games, jetty-to-jetty walk (at 12 noon) and a BBQ (gold coin donation to charity).
