Embrace Your Body Children’s Book from the founder of the Body Image Movement
Body image is the number one issue affecting our children today, and so the Body Image Movement’s mission is to educate this impressionable group to embrace their bodies and love who they are, both inside and out, with the introduction of their (first ever) children’s book – Embrace Your Body.
Based on the iTunes #1 hit children’s song, ‘Embrace’, this beautifully illustrated book written by Tarryn Brumfitt and illustrated by Sinead Henley is aimed at early learners (ages 3-7). It provides an opportunity for parents, carers and teachers to help children build a foundation of positive body image values based on moving, respecting and enjoying their bodies.
However, Embrace Your Body is more than just a book, it is an opportunity to create a space for little ones to learn that our bodies are not ornaments in life, but rather the vehicles to our dreams.
For a limited time when you order the Embrace Your Body book you will receive a free bookmark, word search, colouring-in sheet and sticker. Taryn will also sign the book so your little ones feel extra special! (exclusive to the Body Image Movement, order here).
Published by Penguin Books Australia, the book aims to help children to build a foundation of values based on love and respect for their bodies. Taryn’s wish is for every child care centre, kindy and school across Australia to have access to this book for their students.
Embrace Your Body is sure to become a must-have book in every home and school throughout Australia.
The release date of the book is Tuesday 2 June 2020.
