Celebrate our firefighting history!
Some of South Australia’s oldest fire engines and the Fire Chiefs 1950s Jaguar XK120 Roadster are coming to the Willunga Courthouse. There will be displays of Fire Service memorabilia, vintage weapons and old tools to see.
Entry is by gold coin. A sausage sizzle will be on hand to dispel your hunger.
The Willunga Courthouse Museum will also be open from 11 am to 3 pm ($2 entry). The Heritage-listed Courthouse complex (with cells, stable and police residence) was built from 1855 to 1872 and stands in a picturesque setting by a creek. The Museum is an authentic Courtroom with displays, and family and district records available for research.
