Fairytale Trail with a Princess at Carrick Hill Castle | Once Upon a Princess | 6 Oct 2020

Fairytale Trail with a Princess at Carrick Hill Castle

Once Upon A Princess cordially invite you to “Fairytale Trail with A Princess” at gorgeous Carrick Hill Castle located in the leafy suburb of Springfield.

Built in the 1930’s, the grand castle is as old as time – just like a real fairytale. History and fairytales come together for a magical day with the Royal Princesses. Enter the land far far away, where children will see fairytales come to life right before their eyes as you make your way up the winding road that leads to the castle. Stroll through the exquisite flower gardens filled with sweet scents from blooming roses, and marvel at the manicured lawns, gardens, creeks, water features and ponds, and take in the picturesque views overlooking the city and coast. You may even spot the local ducks and cockatoos.

Fairytale Trail With A Princess will have children explore and discover the natural world through the castle’s parklands using classic children’s tales to encourage the imagination. Children will meet their favourite Princesses along the way – Cinderella, Rapunzel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, the Snow Sisters, Arabian Princess, Island Princess, Dancing Beauty, Little Mermaid and the Frog Princess, as they walk through a sandy track that weaves past ponds and through groves of trees. The children’s Storybook Trail focuses on British classic tales, where children will also encounter The Quidditch tree from the Harry Potter series of books, Charlotte’s Web (a large rope spider’s web in a frame safe for children to climb and play on) with Wilbur the pig nearby, little cubby houses, and the Magic Faraway Tree (with a ring of log seats placed underneath, and a door at the base of the trunk) leading the imagination to wonder where fairies live and more.

Royal Unicorn Ruby

The gorgeous Royal Unicorn Ponies will also make an appearance – imagine your child’s excitement when you capture the moment they meet a real Unicorn, on real castle grounds – a memory that will last a lifetime.

With Fairy Belle sprinkling her glitter fairy dust in her magical fairy garden, and the Fairy Godmother granting wishes, children will be swept into a world of fairytale magic at the royal event.
