Barossa Farmers Market | Saturday Mornings

The Barossa Farmers Market in Angaston

The Barossa Farmers Market is an authentic farmers market in Angaston open Saturday mornings from 7:30am to 11:30am.

The market offers a selection of fresh, seasonal, artisan-made Barossa and regional South Australian food.  Their stallholders sell an extensive range of local vegetables, fruit, meats and bread plus delicious oils, preserves, pastries, dumplings, cakes, sweet treats, coffee, and local specialties.

The Barossa Farmers Market opened its doors in 2002 and is based at the historic Yalumba Vintners sheds behind Vintners Restaurant in Angaston.  The market offers the perfect environment for local producers to sell their products and they have a history of incubating local businesses, offering them an outlet for their products and supporting their growth. Companies such as Maggie Beer Products, Saskia Beer, Carême Pastry and Relish the Barossa were once valued stallholders at the market.

Barossa Farmers Market is a food only market with a few exceptions for potted plants, cut flowers, compost, wood and Christmas trees.  There are no resellers – their stallholders grow, produce, rear, create, bake or preserve the products they are selling.

You can check for weekly stallholders and events by visiting their website (link below).
