The annual Scotch College Farmers’ Market will be held on the school’s picturesque grounds at Torrens Park on Sunday 18 October from 9am to 1pm.
The market will feature a range of produce stalls including herbs, fruit and vegetables, organic coffee and homemade goodies, sourdough breads, cheeses, jams and preserves. Pea straw mulch, organic potting soil and fertilisers will also be available for visitors to take home.
There will also be plenty of activities for the kids, including face painting, a pumpkin carving competition for Halloween, tractor rides and a giant scarecrow competition. The school’s agricultural farm will also be open for visitors to wander around, including a free range chicken farm and olive and fruit orchards.
