Fleurieu Folk Festival
The Fleurieu Folk Festival is a multiple-award winning festival that presents a weekend of music concerts and sessions, dance, workshops, open mic concerts, folk jams, children’s entertainment, stalls, and more.
The Fleurieu Folk Festival is South Australia’s largest folk music festival with past attendances exceeding 8000 and 2019 will be the Festival’s 13th year in the picturesque town of Willunga on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Set in the picturesque town of Willunga on the Fleurieu Peninsula every October, nine venues transform Willunga’s Recreation Park into a global musical village.
That village includes:
- Several covered venues
- Multicultural food and craft stalls
- Festival bar
- On-site camping and facilities
- Dance stage
- Children’s festival
- Music enthusiasts playing together in every niche and corner.
- There is even a special venue – Cafe AcousticA just for people that want to go along and play their own music
The Festival is managed completely on a volunteer basis, by a dedicated organising committee of 12, subcommittees and a hard-working brigade of 130 volunteers.

Fleurieu Folk Festival is great fun for the kids too – there’s a special marquee dedicated to all kinds of fabulous entertainment and plenty of activities to get the youngsters having a great time. There’s face painting, song & dance activities, children’s open-mic concerts, and all kinds of shows that will appeal to the whole family.
Camping facilities are provided adjacent to the festival site and there are also excellent caravan parks and bed & breakfast accommodation options nearby.
Camping is available onsite to weekend pass holders, volunteers and performers for Friday and Saturday nights only. Camping is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be pre-booked.
