Fleurieu Fondo – Ride the Southern Expressway – totally CAR FREE!
With ride distances of between 12km and 125km, the Fleurieu Fondo “Road” offers a classic road ride experience featuring the exclusive opportunity to ride along a car-free Southern Expressway and enjoy a scenic cruise along Adelaide’s beautiful southern beaches.
Then head inland to Willunga via an undulating landscape of lush green vineyards where you can take a breather before taking on the challenge of climbing up the famous Willunga Hill.
Take in spectacular views across the Southern Vales and the coast from the top of The Range then relax and enjoy your achievement with a festival finish at Serafino Wines in McLaren Vale.
With options to take a short cut or avoid the big hills, there’s a ride to suit everyone.

12km Family Shiraz Trail
The Shiraz Trail takes riders from McLaren Vale to Willunga and back along a sealed off-road path, passing vineyards producing world-class McLaren Vale wine. This ride is perfect for families with young children.
Notes:
Children aged 16 years and under ride free of charge but must be registered and must be accompanied by and in the care of a nominated adult who is responsible for them throughout the event. Lunch at the finish is not included.
Children under the age of 6 must be in a child’s bike seat, trailer or on a tagalong unless taking part in Shiraz Trail ride. You will be asked to give their name during the registration process. Lunch at the finish is not included.
The 12km Family Shiraz Trail fee includes only refreshments along the route. Lunch at the finish is not included.
