Flower Day is back in the City of Adelaide
Spring into Adelaide to see beautiful flower installations and activations across the city. From 1938 to 1975, Adelaide celebrated an annual Flower Day that allowed Adelaidians to show pride in their city by beautifying it with mass displays of flowers. Some 46 years later, Flower Day will make its long-awaited return on Thursday 23 September 2021, brought to you by the City of Adelaide.
Flower Day is designed to put a spring in your step with a range of beautiful, creative and joyful installations and activities all around the city. The City of Adelaide has partnered with a range of community groups and organisations to brighten the city streets with flower installations, activations and more.
Buy or pick yourself a bunch of flowers, wear your best floral clothes and play a part in brightening up the city streets.
