City of Charles Sturt Free School Holiday Sports Program.
Kids of all abilities, aged from 3-17 years, are invited to book their spot for the next ever-popular City of Charles Sturt School Holiday Sports Program.
Held at various locations throughout the school holidays, the next school holiday sports program runs from Friday 12 April to Sunday 28 April 2024 with 20 sport providers offering 61 activities.
Please note: some SHS activities may be impacted by the ANZAC Day Public Holiday on Thursday 25 April 2024.
Sports and activities on offer in April 2024 include:
- Bicycle Racing
- Croquet
- Dragon Boating
- Fencing
- Gymnastics
- Hockey
- Karate
- Lacrosse
- Lawn Bowls
- Multi-Sports
- Pickleball*
- Roller Skating
- Soccer (indoor)
- Soccer (girls)
- Table Tennis
- Tennis
- Yoga & Meditation*
- *Denotes activities are inclusive of special needs.
The SHS program enables kids aged 3-17 years to:
- Try new or different sport and recreation activities FREE of charge
- Increase their level of physical activity
- Learn about creating a healthy lifestyle through sport and recreation
- Boost their self-esteem and self-confidence
- Make new friends
Almost 3,000 children were involved in School Holiday Sports activities across Charles Sturt in 2023.
So, book your spot and try a new or different sport, learn about creating a healthy lifestyle through sport and recreation, boost self-confidence plus you might make a new friend.
