Everyone looks forward to when the Adelaide Arcade Christmas decorations go up, and each year they don’t disappoint. The giant twinkling Christmas trees and hanging garlands adorned in traditional red, green and gold baubles along with everyone’s favourite Santa figure who has been part of Adelaide Arcade’s Christmas display for over twenty years set the scene for a magical Christmas.
Make sure you look up and take in the red and white hot air balloons floating through the Arcade delivering gifts. Have you spotted their giant red present box on the outside Grenfell Street end balcony? It lights up at night time too!
Christmas Windows
Enjoy a magical stroll around the Arcade and check out their retailers’ festive window displays.
Christmas Trail
Collect a FREE Christmas Trail brochure on arrival from the Christmas brochure stands located at each entrance of the Arcade and follow the clues! Can you guess all of them?
Christmas Photo Stand
Take a photo with the kid’s faces at the Christmas photo stand. There is a different picture on each side – Santa’s workshop and the gingerbread house.
Adelaide Arcade Tea Rooms
The famous underground tea rooms in Adelaide Arcade have been transformed into Santa’s Workshop! Look through the glass floor to see Santa’s elves working on getting your gifts ready for Christmas.
Christmas Performances
Enjoy free, live performances by talented local artists in the lead-up to Christmas in Adelaide Arcade. Sing along to your favourite carols as you do your Christmas shopping in Adelaide’s most iconic shopping precinct. You can view the artists and performance times here.
