Get Out and #Recre8SA Launch | Recreation SA | Oct 9 2015

Recreation SA is launching a brand new campaign to encourage South Australians to ‘Get out and #Recre8SA’.

#Recre8SA is predominantly a social media campaign, calling on those who are already engaged in recreational activity to act as ambassadors for the abundance of opportunities to be active available throughout the State. There will be monthly prizes for winners that have successfully incorporated #Recre8SA into their social media efforts. These winners will be selected at random.

The campaign is supported by over 80 Recreation SA Members that will empower participants to share evidence of their recreational activity, creating a combined approach that will reach thousands of South Australians and positively encourage action.

There will be a public launch at Rundle Mall on Friday (October 9, 11am-3pm), supported by Adelaide City Council and coinciding with the school holiday break for families looking for a fun boredom buster. Families can head down to the Gawler Place Canopy to try their hand at rock climbing, mini golf, netball, on stage personal training and yoga demonstrations, giant Jenga, the chance to snap a selfie with local personalities and plenty more.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to adopt #Recre8SA into their social media repertoire from today, and join in on the efforts to encourage all South Aussies!
