Gluttony 2021 – Adelaide Fringe

Gluttony pops up again from Friday 19 February for the 2021 Adelaide Fringe.

Gluttony will celebrate its tenth birthday as an Adelaide Fringe hub in 2021.  Over the past decade, Gluttony has grown to become synonymous with the East End’s Rymill Park/Murlawirrapurka during Adelaide’s festival months of February and March.  Thousands of artists have passed under their Art Deco-styled façade to perform on their stages, from local up-and-comers to national TV stars to globally renowned acts.

Gluttony MAP 2021

As you know this Adelaide Fringe will look a little different to that of years gone by so it’s important to know how to go about getting around Gluttony 2021.

WHICH GATE:

When you book to see a show at Gluttony, your ticket will specify a gate you should enter through. This is to assist with patron movement in the hub, minimising crowds and congestion and allowing better flow through the site.

THE ‘GREAT WALL OF GLUTTONY

At peak times – ie: weekends – Gluttony will divide its Rymill Park/Murlawirrapurka hub into two sites: Gluttony City Side and Gluttony Kent Town Side. This will be done via an internal temporary fence going up across the hub, running north-south from Gate E to Rymill Park Lake.

BOOK A SHOW TICKET TO GUARANTEE ENTRY

Priority entry will be given to ticketholders for shows in venues in each respective side of Gluttony. Please check your show tickets to see which venue your show is in and the allocated gate (and side) to enter through.

COVID safe measures at Gluttony 2021 include:

  • COVID Safe Check-Ins via QR code throughout the hub
  • Separated entry and exit gates
  • A more spaced-out site design
  • Hand sanitising and handwashing stations
  • Queue management by COVID Marshals
  • Frequent, thorough cleaning and sanitising of toilets and high-touch surfaces by a dedicated cleaning team
  • Better ventilated performance spaces, including some new open-air venues
  • Checkerboard, physically distanced seating within tents

Gluttony App:

Gluttony has its own app to help you select shows, keep up to date with artist profiles, check performance times, receive special offers and more. Available to download for free for both iPhones and Android phones.

The Gluttony website is also a great way to find a show, with categories to help you find what you’re looking for such as a show with loads of laughs, something you can sing along to or something the whole family can enjoy.

Gluttony Opening Hours:

  • Tuesday – Thursday from 4.30pm until late
  • Friday from 4pm until late
  • Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am until late
  • Closed Mondays apart from the public holiday on Monday 8 March 2021

Gluttony uses a cashless system for all food and beverage purchases.
