The South Australian Maritime Museum and the Australian National Maritime Museum have announced the arrival of the magnificent replica of Captain Cook’s HMB Endeavour.
HMB Endeavour is scheduled to arrive in Port Adelaide on 19 February and will be open to the public from Saturday 20 to Friday 26 February 2016.
To celebrate the visit of Endeavour the SA Maritime Museum is hosting a weekend street party on Saturday 20 (10am to 6pm) and Sunday 21 February (10am to 5pm) in historic Lipson Street between the Museum and McLaren Wharf.
This free family event will showcase Port Adelaide’s maritime heritage and include a pirate show and face painting for the children, roving sea shantie singers Shanghaied, local artist displays, the Adelaide Fringe bus, dolphin cruises, exclusive on board access to tall ships Endeavour, One and All, Falie and much much more!

Saturday 20 February: 10:00am – 6:00pm (last entry at 5:30pm) and Sunday 21 February: 10:00am to 5:00pm (last entry at 4:30pm)
Monday 22 to Thursday 25 February: 2:00pm – 5:00pm (last entry 4:30pm)
Cost: $12 adults, $8 child or $30 families
