Hybrid World Adelaide
Hybrid World Adelaide is a digital playground, offering educational and entertaining experiences and interactions for all generations.
Hybrid World Adelaide (HWA) is an exciting new technology festival and a first for South Australia. Across five days, a myriad of public activities, a conference and a development lab for new projects and inventions, explore the many ways the real and digital worlds are intertwined. They’re saying Hello_Future and looking at what lies ahead, from a multitude of angles; from space and biotech, to gaming and esports; drones and robots; blockchain and cybersecurity; agritech and artificial intelligence.
There will be large scale and intimate performances showcasing the digital world from music to screen to drones, masterclasses, group gaming sessions and ‘how to’ classes for all ages curated by Janet Gaeta.
Hybrid World Adelaide gives the public the chance to try, discuss, create and enjoy a showcase of local innovation and international talent. Supported by the South Australian Government, through founding and principal partner, Events South Australia, Hybrid World Adelaide profiles SA as a destination for discovery, and a State that welcomes and supports innovation.
Hybrid World Adelaide central space will be located at Tonsley – the State’s Innovation District.
