Library in the Park 2020: Dinosaur Roar | Tusmore Park | 6 Mar 2020

Library in the Park 2020: Dinosaur Roar at Tusmore Park

Pack a picnic rug and enjoy Library in the Park at Tusmore Park. This year, the event has a dinosaur theme.

This popular event attracts 500-1000 babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their caregivers each year.

Sit on your picnic rug and listen to author Janeen Brian reading her Dinosaur books and enjoy musical entertainment with MC Professor Flint the Singing Palaeontologist.

Though this is a free event, registration is required to manage numbers as it is a very popular event and parking nearby is limited.

Plus you can also;

  • Purchase Janeen’s books from Shakespeare’s Books and have them signed by the author.
  • Dig for dinosaur bones with Dino-Dig.
  • Meet and greet Aussie animals from Animals Anonymous.
  • Have your face painted and make a nature craft to take home.
  • Enjoy the sausage sizzle provided by Burnside Rotary and coffee by the Roving Café.

Please note that parking is limited at Tusmore Park. If the forecast is over 36 degrees for Library in the Park this event may be relocated to the Burnside Ballroom – all who have registered will receive an email notifying them should relocation need to occur.

Children must be supervised at all times.
