City of Burnside’s Library in the Park 2024
Let’s Go Outside! Pack a picnic rug and enjoy Library in the Park at beautiful Tusmore Park.
Library in the Park is back on Friday 8 March 2024. This FREE annual event hosted by Burnside Library is a must-attend each Autumn, attracting 500 babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their caregivers each year.
Join the outdoor fun at Tusmore Park from 10am to 12pm for:
- Nature craft activities and sensory messy play
- Dinosaur digging
- Yummy refreshments, sausage sizzle, coffee and ice-cream
- Stories, songs and craft with the library team and much more
This event is free but registrations are essential.

Please note:
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Please note that parking is limited at Tusmore Park.
- Pets, except for assistance dogs, are NOT permitted on Hanson Reserve during Library in the Park.
- If the forecast is over 35 degrees for Library in the Park this event may be cancelled or postponed
- Please cancel your place if you are unable to attend.
Tusmore Park is located at the corner of Stirling Street & Kennaway Street, Tusmore
