Introducing Castle Plaza’s magical school holiday activity…. Ice Castle!

Ice Castle is Castle Plaza’s very own synthetic ice skating rink – the first one in South Australia to be open to the public. It is the very same synthetic ice that Disney on Ice perform on when real ice is not available.

Come and experience the magic for yourself and enjoy the dry, warm surface that looks and feels just like real ice!

The Ice Castle will be open during the July school holidays from Saturday 5th – Friday 18th, between 10am-3pm each day.  There will also be daily demonstrations at 12 midday by Adelaide Adrenaline ice hockey players and figure skaters.

Sessions run for 45 minutes and cost $5 each. The ticket price includes entry into the Ice Castle as well as skate hire.  Adults accompanying children under 12 years are free of charge and do not require a ticket.

All ticket money will be donated to children’s charity, Ronald McDonald House.

The minimum age is 5 years old and our Future Ice team will be on the ice to assist beginners and help them take their first steps on the ice. The synthetic ice surface is not wet meaning there is no change of clothes required. There will also be some skating aids (penguins) available for those who require a little extra help on the ice!

You will find the Ice Castle inside the Southern entrance near Coles, and there is plenty of free, easy access parking surrounding the Centre.

To book tickets and for more information visit the Castle Plaza Shopping Centre website.
