Horsepower comes to Adelaide with the Mitsubishi Motors Australian International 3 Day Event

Head to Adelaide’s East Park Lands for family-friendly fun and equestrian action at the Qantas Cross Country Day on Saturday 17 November. Take the kids for a day out to watch these elite horses in action and feel the thunder of the horses’ hooves as they jump their way around Rymill and Victoria Park, only a stone’s throw from the Adelaide CBD.

Kids 12 and under are FREE on Saturday and general admission tickets start at only $30. There’s so much going on throughout the day with rider meet and greets, a Kids Corral Activity Area with face painting, bouncy castle, hobby horse mini cross country course and more.

Adelaide Aus3DE

‘Eventing’ is considered the triathlon of horse sports where the world’s best horses and riders compete in dressage, cross country and show jumping, with each horse and its rider competing in all three phases over the three days. The Adelaide Aus3DE is the only four-star event held in the Southern Hemisphere.

Sunday 18 November 2018 | 9am – 8pm

Location

Victoria Park is the heart of the equestrian event, with grandstands and marquees overlooking the main arena and visitors can get up close to see the riders and horses in action from many picturesque locations around the Cross Country Course from Victoria Park through to Rymill Park. Rymill Lake is home to the exciting water complex and there are so many other wonderful locations in the East Park Lands to watch from. Families can enjoy a picnic atmosphere while getting up close and personal to all the equestrian action.

The event kicks off on Friday 16 November to Sunday 18 November at Victoria Park, in the city’s East End. Various hospitality, general admission, reserved grandstand seating and marquee options are available with entertainment and packages on offer. Children under 5 receive FREE admission on Friday 16 & Sunday 18 November.  School-aged children qualify for concession tickets.
