Complementing the ‘A Theatre Inside the Book’ exhibition, renowned artists James Parker and John Whitney are conducting their ‘Book within a Book’ workshops during the school holidays.

Two daily sessions: 10:30am & 1:30pm

Aimed at children aged between 5-12 years old, using spaces, buildings and exhibitions as inspiration for their design.

Bring your budding young artists to the State Library where they can create their very own book within a book to take home, using the library buildings and exhibitions as inspiration.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Cost: Workshops $15 per child, bookings essential
